Dear Mr. Brown;
I am not sure if you remember me, but you handled Amy Wilson's case 14 months ago. I was the friend who got Amy in trouble. We spoke at the trial more than once, and I told you I was going to boarding school until I came of age.
Well, I'm back now, of age, and would really like to see Amy, but my mother said I should write you first and see how it would affect Amy if I visited her.
I'll wait for two months, or til I hear from you, which ever comes first.
Sincerely, Devon Eckes.

John Brown Brown and Brown Law Firm
Dear Mr. Eckes;
It was very prudent for you to write. We are appealing some of the courts rulings in this matter in the hopes of avoiding the blackballing of my client and her inclusion on the Sexual Offenders list based on that you lied to her about your age before you met, and that when you met in person you had fake ID that allowed you into a bar.
Your mother has been helpful in this by not pressing charges and stating that you have entered therapy for these behaviors. Any overt contact with Miss Wilson will have a negative impact on my client for this purpose.
Please refrain from calling, visiting, or writing her overtly.
Sincerely, John Brown.
