Welcome to Crossroads.
This once well off part of town has been declining for years and now, only pride keeps it from being a slum. Shopkeepers sweep stoops, there are flower boxes on many window sills, and the little park is kept up more by the local residents than the park service, but around this small community oasis other neighborhoods aren't doing so well.
The people who live here are mostly either long time residents, or those seeking fame and fortune or those who have lost them and have ended up here. A lot of college students live here due to the cheap rent, as do actors and struggling musicans and artists.
167th is a mix of buildings with shops on the lower floor, and walk-up apartments above. (Runs N/S)
Green is residential, with Lambert Park in the center of the Western side and a few of the grand old brownstones next to the park. (Runs E/W)
168th is a mix of shops, galleries and entertainment venues including a couple of clubs and a small theater. (Runs N/S)
Morse is mostly communal, with a small police substation, church, a run down hotel and a couple of cafes. (Runs E/W)
