General:
1.1 Read the Rules before breaking them.
1.2 No spamming, and this includes via PM.
1.3 You may not re-edit messages that have been edited by a moderator/admin.
1.4 We do not allow attacks on staff and members
1.5 Before opening an OOC topic, be sure if it isn't being discussed already.
1.6 Do not use glow or too brightly colored text, however if your posting style includes bolding your spoken text that is fine. Likewise, don't use too small of font, size 1 is too small for everyone to read easily.
1.7 The Edit Button is better than double posting
1.8 Please use proper grammar, spelling and punctuation to the best of your ability. This means using the on-line spell checkers etc.
1.9 You are limited to the max of FIVE characters, and must have 50 IC posts before taking cannon or the recommendation of a respected member of the board.
1.10 IF you choose to leave or if you are removed from our boards due to various reason the staff see fit. The posts you have made on here will remain here and will not be removed no matter how much you throw a fit. If we remove posts of one character, it ruins the threads and make them unreadable for others. Thus... this will not be the case. Posts stay where they are

1.11 We will remove posts we deem harassing or offensive, but we will not be held liable for anything you stumble across that may anger or offend you.
1.12 Administrators and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit due to content. (IE: A graphic content thread moved to Fade to Black and if you modify your application beyond the norm, we can change it back. See FAQ's for details.)
Avatar/Signature Rules:
2.1 Avatars maximum size is 160x200 pixels. If it's bigger, we remove it without warning. ONLY PHOTOGRAPHS, NO DRAWN IMAGES OR DATA ANIMATIONS! (data edited photos are however very much ok)
2.2 Your signature is limited to a maximum width of 400 pixels, and a maximum height of 250 pixels. If it's bigger, we remove it without warning.
2.4 Do not use avatars/signatures that contain graphic violence, pornography etc.
2.5 It is allowed to advertise in the correct forum.
If you need help with graphics, don't hesitate to ask us. We know our way around the graphic world.
What we do offer is the following (and probably more that we don't remember)
+ Adding or removal of tattoos
+ hair change in color or length (within reason)
+ clothing edits, color, coverage, etc (within reason)
+ makeup
+ add or remove smiles or expressions (within reason)
+ slight edit of skin color (lighter or darker etc)
+ eye color change
+ making a person thinner or thicker (within reason)
and possibly more. Ask and we can answer yes or no on what you request. DO have in mind that the Admins are only humans too with their own lives, jobs and families however. Be patient with us.
Role Play:
3.0 Do NOT use text size 1 or 0 while writing in game, some of us have bad eyes and it's hard for us to read such tiny text. Doing so will result in the same way as being stated in rule 3.8 below.
3.1 Moderate role play of a NPC is allowed, but generally if a Mod has given a NPC a name that NPC is going to be used as a plot device and shouldn't been controlled by you.
3.2 Nor should any other character be controlled by you, unless it's yours.
3.3 If you have two characters on the same area and they bump into each other, do not go into depth when there are other players to RP with.
3.4 If your thread is going in an overtly sexual direction, please fade to black. If you are over 18, you can take it to IM, PM, or the Fade to Black forum.
3.5 Quality over quantity means that a two or three paragraph post that is well written is preferred over a 1,500 word rambling post which is difficult for another player to respond to. Less than 100 words is discouraged.
3.6 The 'Fade to Black' room is ONLY for those 18 and older, please don't lie to sneak in. Anyone needing the password will need to PM an Admin. If the site is shut down for this reason it would be very sad.
3.7 Post length is requested to be at least two paragraphs long (that means at least 5 lines in each paragraph excluding speech, song lyrics or what ever they may be) . If you can't handle that, you probably do not fit our board.
3.8 If you can not keep post length up, you will be warned three times before being banned. Once for giving you the warning of the posts being too short, second to remind you and third and final that you still haven't done what was requested. After that, it's ban on the account.
Activity:
4.1 If you are going to be away, please use the away forum and let us know.
4.2 If there is no away thread for you, after 72 hours people may post around you, effectively skipping your turn.
4.3 If no away thread members will be 'evicted' from their apartment for 'nonpayment of rent' after two weeks.
4.4 Members inactive for 30 days will be put in the inactive file, and 90 days deleted if a PM isn't sent to a Admin.
